Viscosity Index describes the rate of viscosity change as a function of
temperature and is defined by ASTM D 2270. This method uses the
kinematic viscosity at 40°C and 100°C to determine VI. Use the following
calculators to determine fluid viscosity or VI. Fluids meeting the MEHF
performance definition will have a viscosity index that is greater than 150.
I want to calculate:
Viscosity Index (VI) – Input the fluid viscosity values at 40ºC and 100ºC and click "Calculate."
Kinematic Viscosity @ 100ºC – Input the fluid VI and viscosity value at 40ºC and click "Calculate."
Kinematic Viscosity @ 40ºC – Input the fluid VI and viscosity value at 100ºC and click "Calculate."
